Perth(shire), Angus & Dundee
Big Tree Country and Big County are two nicknames of rich Perthshire. The "fairest portion of the northern kingdom” (Walter Scott) is overflowing with natural beauty, ancient monuments and pretty villages. Highland Perthshire, north of Comrie and Blairgowrie and centred on the town of Perth, offers some of the finest scenery in the UK.
Angus, more to the east has miles of unspoiled landscapes stretching as far as the eye can see. From the beautiful coast and charming towns (Arbroath, Brechin, Carnoustie, Forfar, Kirriemuir, Monifieth and Montrose) and villages to the freedom of the hills and glens. Dundee is a bustly, lively town with a rough charm all of it's own.
