Fascinating Skye!

The Isle of Skye ('Eilean Sgitheanach') just off the coast of Scotland's western seaboard. The largest and most northerly of the Inner Hebrides. Skye is an island blessed with 2 mountainous regions: The Cuillins and the Quiraing. The coastal fringes are rough and quite spectacular and if castles are your thing ... there are.....a few (not that many). Walking? Oh yes! The Skye Trail and many, many more walks of outstanding quality!

Before you get to Skye: The region of Kyle of Lochalsh with castles, hills and lochs is the gateway to Skye and the wonderful north west coast. From Kyle the Skye Bridge traverses the Inner Sound to Kyleakin on this beautiful Island of many wonders.
