Den Finella is a truly beautiful place but please take care if visiting. The reports of a steep and narrow path are not exaggerated! The soil on the way down the gorge is clay-rich and very slippery. In wet weather it is very hazardous and even when it's dry it is slippery and dangerous. You have to be fit, confident and, very important, wear good shoes!

Having said that, once down it's an almost magical experience. The falls cascade water over 20 metres into a large pool below. The tumbling flora around the waterfall adds to the almost otherworldly feeling.
