The Three Lochs Way starts at Balloch and crosses the Highland Boundary Fault towards the Southern Highlands and Inveruglas.

There are links with 3 other trails: The John Muir Way takes off from Balloch and there is the Loch Lomond and Cowal Way near Tarbet and, if you're really in the mood, you might take on the almost iconic West Highland Way a few kms north from Inveruglas.
