Description:

Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve, established in 1951 as Britain’s first National Nature Reserve, is now combined with the Loch Maree Islands NNR. It’s an undeniably stunning place to explore. From afar, the pale scree slopes on the mountains resemble snowy fields, but up close you’ll find a surprising variety of wildlife thriving here. At its heart lies the Beinn Eighe ridge, a dramatic expanse of rugged peaks, ridges, and scree-covered slopes between Loch Maree and Glen Torridon. For seasoned and well-prepared hikers, it offers plenty of opportunities for a challenging and rewarding adventure.

Surrounded by nature at every turn, it’s the perfect spot to slow down and soak in the magic.
