Description:

The highest tower house in Scotland dating back to 1430. In 1567 Mary, Queen of Scots with her new husband Bothwell, were besieged here. The effect of Cromwell's bombardment in 1650 can still be seen high on the east wall. It is now one of Scotlands finest and most lavish venues for corporate gatherings and weddings.
