Description:

Dun Toiseach, or the Fort of the Chief, is the remains of a stone fort thought to have been constructed in the Iron Age on a small rocky hill overlooking An Lodan, the arm of Loch Awe known locally as Ford Bay. The dun measures approximately 13m by 16m and originally had massive stone walls up to 4m thick. Much of the stone has been robbed out, but some evidence of the walls remain.

Great views from the top!
